PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of disagreement in the traveling direction and the operation direction of a narrow guide. SOLUTION: In the combine harvester, the narrow guide 20 for separating grass of unreaped grain culms is installed over from the side of a reaping part 4 to the side of the rear part of a machine body, and is separated to a front narrow guide 21 and a rear narrow guide 22. The narrow guide 20 is constituted so as to be freely moved to an extended position and a housing position by connecting the rear terminal of the front narrow guide 21 and the front terminal of the rear narrow guide 22 so as to be freely bent. One terminal of a pair of operation-transmitting means 40 such as wires is connected to a switching mechanism 30 for switching and moving the narrow guide 20, and the other terminal of the operation-transmitting means 40 is connected to a narrow guide-operating member 41. The narrow guide-operating member 41 is installed in the upper side of the front part of an upper cover 43 for covering the upper side of a threshing cylinder 42 of the threshing device 3 so that the operation direction may be in the right and left direction based on the traveling direction of the machine body.
