PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute the removal of fats and oils contained in wastewater stored in an oil-water separating tank and to eliminate the need of interrupting the use of a sink. SOLUTION: A wastewater treatment apparatus 1 includes: the oil-water separating tank 2 for storing the wastewater containing oil and naturally separating the stored wastewater into an oil layer and a water layer by a specific gravity difference; a wastewater introducing port 31 for introducing the wastewater to the oil-water separating tank 2; an oil discharge port 32 formed in the oil-water separating tank 2, for discharging the oil forming the oil layer to the outside of the tank; a cover 61 which is an oil layer converging means for converging the oil layer toward the oil discharge port 32 corresponding to a wastewater amount stored in the oil-water separating tank 2; and a drain port 33 for discharging water forming the water layer to the outside of the tank corresponding to the wastewater amount.
