ELECTROCHROMIC MATERIAL

摘要

Disclosed is an electrochromic polymer compound which is composed of a hyperbranched polymer having a moiety exhibiting electrochromic characteristics ascribed to a quaternary pyridinium salt, terephthalic acid diester or biphenyl-4,4'-diester structure.  A varnish and a thin film structure each obtained from the polymer compound, and an electrochromic device are also disclosed.  The electrochromic material has high response speed, while having high coloring efficiency and excellent solubility in various solvents.  In addition, the electrochromic material has excellent repetition stability and can be used for a long time.
