PURPOSE: An AC power LED lighting system is provided to minimize power consumption by automatically controlling brightness of LED illumination according to peripheral status. CONSTITUTION: A sensor part(1) detects presence of a man, brightness of a natural light, and pass of time in a section for applying LED illumination. A control part(2) generates a control signal for controlling brightness of the LED illumination according to the detecting signal of the sensor part. A dimming circuit part(10) controls an AC power according to the control signal of the control part, and generates a driving signal for controlling brightness of the LED device. An LED module(20) includes a power part, a rectifying part, and an LED driving part. The power part receives an AC power from outside. The rectifying part rectifies an inputted power by a bridge rectifying circuit. The LED driving part drives an LED device by the power rectified by the rectifying part.
