A liquid crystal composition including a first class including a polar liquid crystal compound having at least one fluorine atom and a second class compound including a neutral liquid crystal compound, in which the first class compound includes a first subclass compound having a dielectric anisotropy (Δ∈) of 15 to 21 and a second subclass compound having a dielectric anisotropy (Δ∈) of 5 to 15, and the first sub-class compound includes a liquid crystal compound expressed by the following Chemical Formula 1,;
in which R is an alkyl group or an alkenyl group.

1. A liquid crystal composition comprising:
a first class polar liquid crystal compound comprising a first subclass compound having a dielectric anisotropy of 15 to 21 and a second subclass compound having a dielectric anisotropy of 5 to 15; and a second class neutral liquid crystal compound comprising at least one compound expressed by following Chemical Formula 3-1 to Chemical Formula 3-4, wherein the first subclass compound is at least one compound expressed by following Chemical Formula 1, and the second subclass compound is at least one compound expressed by following Chemical Formula 2-1 to Chemical Formula 2-5, wherein R and R′ are the same or different and R and R′ are an alkyl group or an alkenyl group having two to five carbon atoms.
