发明名称 METAL COMPONENT MANUFACTURING METHOD USING PLASTIC FLOW BONDING
摘要 <p>Provided is a novel metal component manufacturing method capable of reducing energy consumption during a step of heating a metal material, incurring little material loss. A shaft-like member and a disc-like member which have undergone heat treatment are bonded using plastic flow. A first opening having substantially the same diameter as the shaft-like member and a second opening communicating with the first opening and having a diameter larger than the first opening are formed in the disc-like member. The shaft-like member is inserted into and positioned inside the first opening, and the gap formed between the outer circumferential surface of the shaft-like member and the inner circumferential surface of the second opening is filled with a metal bonding material having a hardness lower than either the shaft-like member or the disc-like member, and this is press-fit to achieve plastic deformation. As a result, the metal bonding material flows into bonding grooves formed in advance in the outer circumferential surface of the shaft-like member and in the inner circumferential surface of the second opening, thus bonding the shaft-like member and the disc-like member through mechanical coupling.</p>
