<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider tester that can efficiently test a plurality of sliders to be used for a disk device. <P>SOLUTION: The slider tester 10 includes a disk 11, a movable table 12, a table driving mechanism 13 and a guide member 14. A plurality of suspensions 30A, 30B and 30C are attached to the movable table 12. The guide member 14 supports a tab 40 for lifting the suspensions 30A, 30B and 30C. The guide member 14 has a first guide surface 71, a second guide surface 72 and an opening 73 in the track width direction of the disk 11. When the movable table 12 moves in the track width direction of the disk 11 and the tab 40 for lifting enters the opening 73, the slider 50 drops on a recording surface 11a of the disk 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
