<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run out table and a method of conveying a strip by which the lifting and doubling in the nose part of the strip which are generated in a wide roll pitch part where the sinking of the nose part of the strip is larger as compared with a normal roll pitch part and the depth colliding to a conveying roller is deepened are avoided and stable conveyance of the strip is possible. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the run out table which has a plurality of normal roller pitch parts where the pass level of the conveying roller is horizontal and the interval between the normal roller pitch parts is made wider than the pitch in the normal roller pitch part, this run out table is made stepwise by providing the difference in level in the pass level of the conveying roller by arranging the normal roller pitch part on the downstream side lower than the normal roller pitch part on the upstream side in the vertical direction and the normal roller pitch parts are horizontal and sloped down in the direction of conveyance between the normal roller pitch parts.
