PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator can be easily handled while improving its safety. SOLUTION: An upper back cover 60 and a lower back cover 80 form a cooling pathway receiving a cooler 52, a fan 54 and the like as functional components, with a back wall of a body. The upper back cover 60 includes an upper fixed cover 65 fixed to the back wall, and an upper movable cover 66 detachably suitable for the upper fixed cover 65. Further the lower back cover 80 also includes a lower fixed cover 82 fixed to the back wall, and a lower movable cover 83 detachably suitable for the lower fixed cover 82. The functional components such as the cooler 52 and the fan 54 are covered by the upper fixed cover 65 or the lower fixed cover 82, thus the safety is improved. Besides, since the upper movable cover 66 and the lower movable cover 83 can be easily demounted from the fixed covers, the replacement and repair of the functional component can be easily performed.
