PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of reducing heat leakage to the inside of the refrigerator caused by excess heating while suppressing generation of dew condensation caused by shortage in heating a dew-proofing pipe. SOLUTION: This refrigerator 10 comprising a refrigerating compartment 20 and a freezing storage space 40, further comprises the dew-proofing pipe 32 for refrigerating, disposed around a refrigerating compartment 20, and a dew-proofing pipe 34 for freezing, disposed around the freezing storage space 40, the refrigerant discharged from a compressor 56 and flowing to a condenser 58 is introduced to the dew-proofing pipe 34 for a freezing compartment, and the existence or absence of the refrigerant flow to the dew-proofing pipe 32 for refrigerating is controlled by a switch valve 60.
