<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of optimizing the allocation of a wireless communication frame to each of protocols in accordance with every time situation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an ultra-wide band (UWB) driver 11 receiving data transmission/reception requests from a Wireless USB driver 14 and a Wireless DVI/Audio driver 15, a communication traffic monitoring section 112 monitors data transmission/reception request amounts. On the basis of a result of monitoring by the communication traffic monitoring section 112, a band allocation management section 111 controls the allocation of a wireless communication frame to each of wireless communication by Wireless USB and wireless communication by Wireless DVI/Audio.
