PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrical contact which includes high stability of bonding strength between a contact and a wig rest and manufactures the electrical contact having a beautiful bonded surface with high productivity. SOLUTION: A recess 1c into which a contact 3 is inserted is formed in a section with which the contact 3 of the wig rest 1 abuts, the contact 3 is inserted into the recess 1c to support the contact 3 and the wig rest 1 which are overlapped, a rotary tool 22 which rotates at a predetermined velocity and moves back and forward with respect to a jig is pushed into a position corresponding to the contact 3 of a surface opposite to the contact 3 of the wig rest 1 while rotating, a welded surface between the contact 1 and the wig rest 3 is heated by frictional heat between the rotary tool 22 and the wig rest 1 and is welded by solid state diffusion welding or liquid phase diffusion welding, and thereafter the rotary tool 22 is backed off from the wig rest to manufacture the electrical contact.
