<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data read-out device in which feeling of discomfort brought to a user by drive sound of a HDD device can be reduced and a music reproducing device using the same, a data read-out method, and a program. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A system micro-computer starts the HDD device, and accumulates music data in a buffer memory. When data quantity reaches V2(%), the HDD device is stopped, and accumulated music data is discharged and reproduced as audio. The system micro-computer analyzes the music data, and controls the HDD device so that operation of the HDD device is performed in a range in which data residual quantity is the prescribed quantity V3 (%) or less and an amplitude level of the music data is a threshold value La or more.
