摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronically controlled throttle device of a normal-open type, capable of eliminating control to return to a fully-opening position in soft-landing by motor driving control and cushioning an impact caused when a fully opening stopper and a gear (a restriction member provided integrally with the gear but different from the gear) collides against each other. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A throttle valve 13 is secured to a throttle valve shaft 12 pivotally supported in an intake passage 11 of a throttle body. The throttle valve shaft 12 is rotatingly driven by a motor via a speed reduction mechanism. There is provided a default spring 50 for urging and rotating the throttle valve shaft 12 in a fully opened direction. At the fully opened position of the throttle valve shaft 12, the movement in the rotating direction is restricted by bringing the impact cushioning member (70, 80) into contact with the stopper 14 of the throttle body. Since the necessity of the soft-landing control is eliminated, it is possible to simplify control software of the valve driving motor and to reduce the consumption of motor driving current.
