<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system capable of preventing a damage by a thief or the like after an earthquake occurs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This security system includes a crime-preventive sensor 2 for detecting crime prevention abnormality within a building, and a controller 1 for controlling a warning state by the crime-preventive sensor 2, and the controller 1 controls a prescribed crime-preventive operation, when detecting the crime prevention abnormality by the crime-preventive sensor 2 in a warning-started state. The security system includes an earthquake receiver 3 for acquiring earthquake occurrence information, the earthquake receiver 3 transmits an earthquake signal to the controller 1, when acquiring the earthquake occurrence information, and the controller 1 starts a warning by the crime-preventive sensor 2, when receiving the earthquake signal.
