<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater camera housing, attaining cameraman's preferable manual operability of a housing body in underwater photographing, facilitating compactness, and also giving convenience to carrying and storage. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This underwater camera housing 1 includes a housing body 2 storing a camera and a pair of grips 31 for holding disposed on both sides of the housing body 2. A grip rotation adjusting mechanism part 3 includes a grip receiving part 4 projected sideways from the lower position of the side of the housing body 2, a rotating engagement piece 32 engaged with the grip receiving part 4 provided at the grip 31 to turn in the horizontal direction, and an operating dial 33 for fixing the rotating position of the rotating engagement piece 32 to the grip receiving part 4 and release fixing, and is provided at each lower position of both sides of the housing body 2. The pair of grips 31 is turned and adjusted in the state of pivoting toward the front and the back of the housing body 2 still in each erect state outside both sides of the housing body 2.
