The present invention relates to a composition for diagnosing vascular diseases, wherein the composition comprises a formulation for measuring a level of a blood interleukin 12 receptor 2 protein; and to a kit for diagnosing vascular diseases, wherein the kit comprises the same. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method for providing information for diagnosing vascular diseases, wherein the method comprises a step of measuring a level of an interleukin 12 receptor 2 protein from a separated blood sample of a suspected case of a vascular disease. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating vascular diseases, wherein the composition comprises an interleukin 12 receptor 2 activity inhibitor; and to a method for screening a vascular disease treating agent, wherein he method comprises a step of treating a candidate material for treating vascular diseases by smooth muscle cells and measuring an expression level of an interleukin 12 receptor 2. According to the present invention, an interleukin 12 receptor 2 is used as a biomarker with respect to vascular diseases, specifically, to myocardial infarction or unstable angina pectoris, so vascular diseases which have conventionally been able to be diagnosed only through angiography can be non-invasively and economically diagnosed in a short time. Accordingly, an early diagnosis can be performed in the field of vascular diseases, in which a post-diagnosis is performed through a subjective symptom only after a disease worsens and an ischemic symptom occurs. Thus, early preventive treatment which has been conventionally impossible can be performed. |
