摘要 The present invention relates to a positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, a manufacturing method thereof, and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. Provided is a positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, comprising: a lithium transition metal complex oxide; and a coating layer positioned on the surface of the lithium transition metal complex oxide, wherein the coating layer contains a lithium aluminum oxide, a lithium barium oxide, a lithium-aluminum-barium oxide, or a combination thereof. Also, provided are a manufacturing method thereof, and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery has the improved rate capability and capacity retention.
