摘要 <p>The method involves forming partial quantities from total quantity of landmarks (L1-L3). A quality criterion is determined for each partial quantity under consideration of a selection of configurations (q1, q2) of a mobile object (1), which represents a position of the object, where the criterion represents a quality of estimation of the position of the object for the configurations based on the landmarks. The partial quantity of the landmarks is selected if the criterion meets a preset criterion with respect to a high quality of the estimation of the object position for the configurations. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for computer-based selection of landmarks from a spatial environment for localization of a mobile object, including a sensor device (2) a computer program product with a program code stored on a machine-readable carrier for executing a method of computer-based selection of landmarks.</p>
