The continuously variable transmission (CVT), with a secondary power output path, is without a synchronized change between the two sets. Part of the torque input passes into the first power path (3) through a hydrostatic unit (4) and the remainder is directed to the second path (5) through a mechanical unit (6) between the gearbox input (7) and output (8). At least three gears are provided for forward and reverse movement, using at least one disengagement or engagement switch (K1-K3).
