A magazine for spot welding chips which stores a plurality of miniature chips and can supply miniature chips one by one. In the magazine for spot welding chips, a miniature chip storing portion (11a) wherein a plurality of miniature chips (302) are slidably arranged and stored and a cap chip storing portion (11d) wherein a plurality of cap chips (195) are slidably arranged and stored are formed, and one ends of the miniature chip storing portion (11a) and the cap chip storing portion (11d) are made to communicate with each other and at the same time are opened to the outside to make them serve as supply ports (11b, 11e). When an arm is inserted into the supply port (11e), a cap chip (195) is mounted on the arm and at the same time the cap chip (195) pushes a miniature chip (302) to mount the miniature chip on a chip base. After the mounting operation is completed, pushing members (12, 22) push the miniature chips (302) and the cap chips (195), respectively, and thereby a miniature chip (302) and cap chip (195) are automatically supplied to the supply ports (11b, 11e).
