<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hitless route switching method capable of changing a route of IP multicast without interrupting services to users. <P>SOLUTION: A Node (F) transmits a hitless route switching instruction (PIM-Join(SW)) to an existing route and a switching destination route. A node (A) on the existing route for receiving the same PIM-Join(SW) from different nodes discriminates itself to be a route switching start point node, thereafter transmits a service request to a service distribution server 101 and transmits packets attached with information denoting the order of the packets to both the routes for a user side.
