PURPOSE: An inferior sealing detecting apparatus for a condom and a four-side package is provided to detect seal failure at four sides accurately based on the distance of a package sealing part. CONSTITUTION: An inferior sealing detecting apparatus for a condom and a four-side package includes a first motion transmission unit, a second motion transmission unit, and a laser sensor(55a,55b). The first motion transmission unit is formed of linkage of motion transmission elements, and reciprocates back and forth. The second motion transmission unit is formed of linkage of motion transmission elements, and reciprocates right and left. The laser sensor detects seal failure while moving in four directions around the sealed portion of the package by the combination of the first and second motion transmission units.
