PURPOSE: A sanitary water pack for preventing contamination of a water storage tank used in a water purifier and a method for disinfecting the water purifier using the same are provided to prevent expose purified water to the air in a water tank. CONSTITUTION: A sanitary water pack(70) for preventing contamination of a water storage tank includes a purified water inlet(73), a purified water outlet(71,72), and a disinfectant(80). The inlet and the outlet are formed as one entrance. The disinfectant is coated on an inner wall of the sanitary water pack.
