PURPOSE: A rod-shape implant for the dynamic stability of backbone is provided, which permits movement of the stabilized spinal motion segment in the specific direction. CONSTITUTION: A rod-shape implant for the dynamic stability of backbone is constituted as follows. At least one part the rod-shape implant is made of flexible first material forming a matrix(3). In the flexible structure(2), one or more fiber made of the second material is included. The first material is polymer and elastomeric material. The second material is synthetic material such as polypropylene.
