PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool in which cooling liquid can be prevented from adhering to a rail and the like.SOLUTION: The machine tool is provided that comprises: a main spindle on which a tool is mounted; a main spindle head that supports the main spindle to be rotatable around a spindle; a column that supports the main spindle head; a supporting part that supports the column; a movement mechanism that moves the supporting part; a supply pipe that supplies grease to the movement mechanism; and an insertion hole which is provided in the supporting part and into which the supply pipe is inserted, the machine tool supplying cooling liquid for removing chips generated during working by the tool. There are provided in the supporting part a protruding portion that surrounds the insertion hole and protrudes upward and a discharge hole that discharges the cooling liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
