PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for demodulating a CDMA access channel are provided to successfully demodulate a access channel by appropriately correcting a delay on the wireless space in 2 second(Even Second) clock. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus and a method for demodulating a CDMA access channel, a first down converter(103) converts a radio signal of a forward channel which is transmitted to a terminal from a base station into a baseband signal. A forward link receiver(105) modulates a signal received from a first down converter. A forward link receiver extracts a synchronization signal of a pilot channel from a demodulation result. The forward link receiver supplies a base station parameter of a paging channel to a demodulation unit. A synchronization extraction unit(107) receives a synchronization signal of a pilot channel of the forward link receiver, a PN offset(Pseudo Noise Code Offset), and TOD information of a sync channel. |
