The low-expanding glass ceramic plate comprises a black coating directly or indirectly applied on one side of a glass ceramic plate in an area-wise manner, a decoration layer applied on an upper side of the plate, and an intermediate layer arranged between the coating and the plate side in an area-wise manner. The decoration layer contains effect pigments. The coating contains noble metal portion (65 wt.%). A silicone color, polyamide-containing or polyimide-containing or sol-gel layer and/or a thermally conductive layer made of silver-containing paste are applied on the coating. The coating is built from several individual layers arranged one over the other. The layer thickness of the coating is 230-380 nm. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a glass ceramic plate.
