The prosthesis (10) has first and second prosthetic plates (20, 30), the first with a concave recess in the side (20b) facing the other plate, and the second with a convex projection (32) in the corresponding side (30b). The convex projection and/or concave recess has at least one spring element. The projection may be hollow.
