PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal for setting up functions for each context and a method thereof are provided to easily change the setting of the mobile communication terminal through a context profile in which the functions are set up. CONSTITUTION: A key input unit(110) outputs a key input signal corresponding to plural key buttons. A context profile storage unit(135) stores/manages at least one context profile in which setting of each function matched with a specific context is designated. According to a key input signal inputted through the key input unit, a control unit(150) searches a context profile stored in the context profile storage unit and performs a control operation so that each function can collectively be set based on the searched context profile.
