TRANSMISSION TYPE POLARIZATION CONVERTER AND POLARIZATION GENERATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A transmission type polarization converter and polarization generation apparatus are provided to generate polarization of desired shape by using the frequency selective plane. CONSTITUTION: The conductive layer(210) is made of the conductive material. The lattice cells of same form are arranged. The dielectric layer(220) is formed in the conductive layer. The lattice cell is the form of one among the bar shape, and the cross-like shape and T- shape. The lattice cell consists of the inside portion, the outer portion. The PIN diode is formed between the inside portion and outer portion in the lattice cell. The phase difference of the transmission coefficient to two incident waves is 90°.
