MULTILAYER COMPOSITE HAVING A LAYER OF POLYCARBONATE

New multilayer composites (A) have at least one layer (I) of a polycarbonate or copolycarbonate having terminal phenoxy groups which are monosubstituted by a 10-25C alkyl, 10-25C alkoxy or 10-25C alkyl-substituted aryl (especially 12-20C n-alkyl, especially m-pentadecyl) group as sole substituent. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of (A), by laminating a film of polycarbonate or copolycarbonate as above with another film; and (2) the use of a polycarbonate or copolycarbonate as above for the production of a monolayer composite.
