PURPOSE: A water gate system and an installing method thereof are provided to reduce a space for the installation of the water gate and reduce construction cost by lowering the height of a post and prevent the malfunction of a water gate due to foreign materials. CONSTITUTION: A water gate system(10) comprises a water gate structure(20), a water gate unit(30), a guide device, and a packing device. The water gate structure comprises piers(21,22) and first and second guide frames(23,24). The piers are installed to be faced to each other and form a water conveyance channel(100). The first and the second guide frames are installed to be parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction. The water gate unit is installed at the first and the second guide frames between posts(25,26). The water gate unit comprises a water gate body(31), a lower main roller unit, and an upper main roller unit. The lower part main roller unit has first and second lower main rollers. The upper main roller has an upper main roller. The guide device is installed at the both sides of the water gate body. The guide device prevents the water gate main body from being eccentric to one side. The guide device has a side-roller. The packing device is installed at the water gate main body and blocks the leakage of the water. |
