The device has a retaining container (5) to accommodate a sample (1). A camera (3) detects the sample. A light source (7) is arranged in such a manner that the sample is X-rayed against a line of sight of the camera. Another light source (11) is arranged at the same side of the camera. A laser source (19) is arranged transverse to the line of sight of the camera. A screen (23) is positioned in such a manner that a projection of laser radiations (21) is detected at the screen, where the laser radiations penetrate the sample.
