PURPOSE: A displaying device and method for battery remaining quantity of capsule type endoscope are provided to prevent the malfunction of the capsule type endoscope by checking the discharge state of the battery. CONSTITUTION: The lighting part(101) illuminates the human body. The image acquisition part(102) acquires an image in the portion illuminated by the illuminating means. The transmission unit(105) transmits the video information obtained by the image capturing means. The battery(104) supplies the power to each means. The storage stores and matches the digital battery output voltage and displaying battery remainder. The transform unit(106) converts the analog battery output voltage to the battery output voltage that is the digital voltage.
