PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing food waste and a method thereof are provided to decompose the food waste with microorganisms after pulverizing the food waste with a ball mill. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing food waste and a method thereof includes a food inlet(100), a driving motor part(200), a rotation pulverizing part(300), a shielding net(400), a rotation exhausting part(500), a microorganism decomposition part(600), a microorganism input part(700) and an outlet(800). The rotation pulverizing part pulverizes transferred food waste with a ball mill. The driving motor part drives the rotation pulverizing part and the rotation exhausting part. The microorganism decomposition part decomposes the food waste with microorganisms. The apparatus for processing the food waste further includes a humidity control part. |
