METHOD FOR FORMING EXTERNAL ELECTRODE OF TANTAL CONDENSER

PURPOSE: A method for forming an external electrode of a tantalum condenser is provided to maintain a high electrical characteristic of the condenser device by forming a nickel plating layer in an outer surface of the tantalum condenser through a dual catalytic process using palladium and a pretreatment using fluoride. CONSTITUTION: A surface around a plating layer is cleaned with alkaline and acid cleaning. The pretreatment using fluoride is performed in the surface of a molding material(130) of the tantalum condenser. A first catalytic process using an ion type palladium catalytic process solution is performed on a surface of an end of anode wires exposed to the surface of the molding material. A second catalytic process using the colloid type palladium catalytic process solution is performed on the surface of the molding material around the end of the anode wire. A nickel plating layer is formed on the surface of the molding material and the anode wire.
