Connection profile for components bordering insulating layers with plaster

The connecting profile (1) is used where components, e.g. door- or window frames (10) border insulating layers (11) and plaster (12). The base profile (2) is first fastened to the frame (10) (or other building component). Then a sealing strip (7) is inserted into a recess (6) provided for it. The strip is expansive or resilient. Following deployment and development to its full extent, the strip rests against the component (10) and the holding section (5) of the base profile (2). It completes a seal in these locations.
