<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monoclonal antibody against chondroitinase ABC which is available for production of super high-purity chondroitinase ABC fraction. <P>SOLUTION: A monoclonal antibody specifically binding to chondroitinase ABC, a hybridoma strain producing the antibody and a method for measuring chondroitinase ABC using the antibody are provided. Also, a method comprising a process for detecting chondroitinase ABC by the measuring method for producing a chondroitinase ABC fraction has following characteristics (1) and (2): (1) chondroitin sulfate lyase II is not detected upon measuring by an immunoassay using an antibody specifically binding to chondroitin sulfate lyase II; and (2) a peak of chondroitin sulfate lyase II is not detected through high performance liquid chromatography. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
