KNIT GOODS SIMULATION DEVICE AND KNIT GOODS SIMULATION METHOD

Design data for a knit product is converted into string line data in which a loop is expressed a string line. The loop is expressed by a polygonal column. A side face of the polygonal column is divided into polygons, and an apex coordinate of each polygon is stored in a polygon memory. A loop shown in a simulation image (40) displayed on a monitor (18) is extracted and processed by a graphic CPU (26) to thereby limit the processing range. Part of apex data is stored in a graphic memory (28), and its transfer from the polygon memory (24) is made unnecessary. A 3D simulation image (40) can be processed at high speed.
