Control system for a diesel fuel injection system in which the fuel supply pump is controlled by an electronic control unit (ECU, 3). The control unit calculates differences in the flow axis direction between the flow used and the output quantity of the fuel supply pump during idling and coasting time periods. The ECU then carries out a speed correction and corrects the gradient of a characteristic curve based on differences determined from the speed correction and the exhaust gas quantity. |
