<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of a flexible body for eliminating a gap between an apparatus main body 1 and a translucent cover 4 in which installation can be made easily and resistance at the time of rotation hooking of the translucent cover 4 is made smaller. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus has an apparatus main body 1 of nearly flat shape arranged horizontally. A downward folded edge 2 which bends downward is formed at the surrounding of the apparatus main body 1. A circular and bowl-shape translucent cover 6 which is installed detachably in rotation hooking type at the lower face side of the apparatus main body 1 is provided. A flange part 7 which extends outward is formed at the surrounding of the translucent cover 6. A vertical face part 8 which is connected to the inner circumference edge of the flange part 7 and comes down perpendicularly from there is formed at the translucent cover 6. A flexible body 5 is arranged so as to contact the flange part 7/vertical face part 8. The whole of flexible body 5 has a ring-shape and the cross-section of each ring portion has a hollow shape. The flexible body 5 contacts the flange part 7/vertical face part 8, but is not adhered, thereby, it can slide to the vertical face part of the flange part 7.
