The method includes: receiving a session triggering message from a Data Synchronization or Device Management DS/DM server, where the message carries indication information indicating whether to report security authentication information and/or device information; and if authentication information and/or device information needs to be reported, sending a session initiation message carrying the required information to the DS/DM server.</p>
