PURPOSE: An impediment diagnosis mode control method of an automatic temperature controller for vehicles is provided to control the input of a control switch. CONSTITUTION: A first control switch of an automatic temperature controller for vehicles is checked in a first step(S510). A second control switch of the automatic temperature controller for the vehicle is check in a second step(S530). The first and second control switches are checked in a third step(S540). The automatic temperature controller for the vehicle is diagnosed as an impediment, if the first and second control switches are checked as those are not pressed in a third step(S570). The input of another control switch is blocked in a fifth step(S580).
