FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely ophthalmology and covers early diagnostics of primary glaucoma. The main tonography signs are determined including: true intraocular pressure, free outflow index, minute volume of aqueous humor and Becker's coefficient. When the signs are close to upper limit of the norm, and BC exceeds 80, the second stage follows including evaluation of increment of function 8 that reflects the difference of visual acuity at minimum 50 lux and maximum 400 lux in illuminance testing. If 8=0.12, primary glaucoma is diagnosed. ^ EFFECT: invention allows improving diagnostic accuracy of primary glaucoma by detecting decrement in visual acuity in various illuminance conditions, extending and intensifying predictability of development and clinical course of initial primary glaucoma, can be recommended to be applied by medical boards in periodic health examinations for early diagnostics of primary glaucoma. ^ 1 dwg, 1 tbl |
