FIELD: forestry. ^ SUBSTANCE: device is intended to remove or reduce the butt thickening of beams (3a, 3b, 3c, 16, 17) and includes transport facilities (5, 7) to turn the beams (3a, 3b, 3c, 16, 17) around its longitudinal axis to the position where the butt thickenings are removed or reduced, and the beam (3a, 3b, 3c, 16, 17) is located on the flat-bed areas (6a, 6b) of the transport facilities (7). Transport facilities includes several separate transport bearers with flat-bed areas (6a, 6b) of the bordering for the beam which are installed to enable to turn it around one axis (10). Further turn of the transport facilities (7) around its own axis (10) provides the movement of the beams (3a, 3b, 3c, 16, 17) through the deivice. ^ EFFECT: invention allows to decrease the duration of the production cycle of removal or reduction of butt thickening on the beams. ^ 9 cl, 7 dwg |
