PURPOSE: An automatic public-performance apparatus for a robot is provided to afterwards by allowing robots to perform automatically. CONSTITUTION: An automatic public-performance apparatus for a robot comprises a stage pad(30), a moving unit(1), a set module(6), and a character robot(5). An absolute position code representing a picture for a stage floor, an absolute position and direction from the stage floor are presented on the pad for a stage. The moving unit is equipped with an optic reader(2) photographing the image of the absolute position code. The moving unit moves toward specific position and direction on the pad for a stage. The set module is carried by the moving unit, loaded onto the top of the moving unit. The character robot mounted on the top of the moving unit is carried by it. The character robot behaves and speaks like a human. The picture and absolute position code is printed in different colors. The optical reader receives image of color for the absolute position code.
