FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, in particular to devices for neurosurgery and neuropathology. Device contains helmet, whose framework consists of curved inwards plates, on internal surface of which heat exchanger pipe is spirally placed with withdrawal outside, through gap between plates, ends, pipes of inflow and outflow of cold carrier and thermometer. On upper end of each plate made are loops under elastic fixer in form of cord passed through loops. Plates are made rigid, on their lower ends there are semi-pipes, placed with possibility of rotation on ring, which consists of two telescopically connected semi-rings, equipped with fixers. ^ EFFECT: invention allows to extend possibilities of applying external craniocerebral hypothermia with any head dimensions in conditions of any building with cold-carrier source by means of construction simplification and elimination of necessity to apply electric energy. ^ 5 cl, 6 dwg |
