Vortex current method for determination of parameters of surface layers of metal articles is in fact that vortex-current transformer is included to resonance circuit of controlled auto-generator with installation of vortex-current transformer to surface of sample article, one installs through adjustment of control voltage of auto-generator mode of generation with determination of value of control voltage corresponding to that mode, one sets vortex-current transformer to surface of controlled article with setting through control of control voltage given mode of generation, one determines difference of values of control voltages obtained for sample and controlled articles and by that one makes conclusions on parameters of surface layer of controlled article. At that one installed vortex-current transformer to sample articles with different parameters of surface layer, with changing control voltage, and for each sample one determines dependence of output voltage of auto-generator from control voltage, by set of dependences of output voltage of auto-generator on control voltage one determines area of values of control voltage where steepness of dependence of output voltage of auto-generator on control value is minimal, with fixation of values of output voltage in area of minimal steepness of dependence of output voltage on control voltage for sample that corresponds to boundary of range of change of controlled parameter of surface layer and control of controlled voltage is each time carried out till obtaining fixed value of output voltage of auto-generator in area of minimal steepness of output voltage of auto-generator on control voltage. |
