An electrostatic cleaner contains a housing, inlet and outlet of gas, a horizontal channel, which forms collecting electrodes installed with a step H and made from separate, rigidly connected, plane-parallel plates with chutes in the form of trapezoids with combined closed planes of their apexes for the adjacent walls of channel and open bases, and also corona-forming electrodes installed near the central plane of channel and equipped with fixed points for forming extremely heterogeneous electric field of corona discharge, which are located on the opposite ends transversely of the fixed elements. The tubular bases of corona-forming electrodes are installed at points, next by one, of intersection of the vertical planes of position of transversely directed connecting the chutes with the central plane of channel, whereas the points for forming the corona discharge are mirror located along the central plane of channel and opposite the middle part of the chutes combined for the adjacent walls of the channel of plane-parallel plates. |
